"Oh, don't be silly," Solona smirks, taking Anders' hand and pulling him towards her room. "And yes we can. When we have an actual bed and when we blend in well enough."

Anders smirks right back at her.

"Oh, good. I thought for a moment we were going to act sensible, and that scared me there."

He nods. Oh, he cannot wait till they get to Lothering...

"Act sensible?" Solona quirks an eyebrow. "What do you mean?" She closes the door behind them and locks it, moving to the tub to heat the water with a touch of her finger.

"You know. Try to keep a low profile or whatever it is Chantry people do....but I like the way you think much more."

He smirks, leaning against the door.

"But we aren't going to be Chantry folk in Lothering, are we?" Solona asks as she pushes her robes off her shoulders. "That would require us signing up for the Chantry itself."

"Oh, Maker, no. I don't think I could keep up the act forever. We'll do something else in Lothering, love."

He nods and starts to remove his robes.

"I dunno. We could be farmers or animal healers or something."

Solona steps into the water. "Animal healers? I think that's what you want to be." She chuckles and leans back, soaking in the warmth of the water and sighing happily. "Nellie could man an apothecary or something. Cullen can be the farmer." She snorts at the thought.

That leaves one lingering question though. She turns to Anders with a bothered look on her face. "What can I do?" It's not like she's good with herbs like Nellie or healing like Anders; and she certainly wasn't going to do any physical work, not with her build from life in the Circle.

Anders joins her in the water, sighing happily and sinking into the warmth. Oh, that's nice.

But then she asks that question, what could she do? And he looks up at her, seeing the concern on her face.

"Wat do you want to do, Sol?"

"I'm not even sure myself, Andy," she sighs. Her legs brush against his, with them seated opposite each other. "I mean, most of what I learned in the tower is about offensive spells. I could blow things up in a heartbeat. But then that doesn't exactly work for the quiet life, does it?"

He sighs, stroking her foot with his foot, in a feeble attempt to comfort her.

"Sol...the good thing about freedom is you can try all sorts of things you could never do before. Maybe you'll learn all new things, being out...and then you'll know what you can do, and what you want to do."

Solona chuckles lightly. "I never really gave freedom much thought. I never even expected that we'd manage to escape successfully. It's almost too good to be true."

Anders laughs and nods.

"I know. But I've got a really good feeling about this time, you know? And now you've got the time and the options to explore, Sol. You don't have to just be a Circle mage, you can be whatever you want."

Solona considers this. Then smiles. His words were very reassuring.

"You know Anders," she smiles, although it faintly looked more like a smirk. "I've always wondered what it would be like working at a brothel." She grins impishly.

That just makes Anders snort and laugh, before he splashes Solona.

"Sol, no matter what way I respond to that, you're gonna hit me. But take it from me, it all depends on the brothel. Some are better than others."

Somebody's speaking from personal experience here...

"Oh? And what makes you say that some are better than others?" Solona raises an eyebrow. "Don't tell me you've actually tried it at one point!"

And the awkward silence settles in. Anders chuckles nervously, looking away.

"Well...I had to pay for my room at the Pearl somehow...! Sanga was nice, but she was running a business, after all..."

"No!" Solona gasps. "The Pearl?" Her mouth suddenly twists itself into a grin. "The Pearl in Denerim?" She covers her mouth with both hands just to stop herself from cackling. "Oh, how I would have loved to see you there! I mean, I can just imagine how happy you were as well."

Anders shrugs, giving Solona a lopsided smile.

"It paid well, and I met some very interesting people...there was a pirate there, Isabela, I think...she was very fond of my lightning trick."

He chuckles, remembering his time at the Pearl.

"Honestly, it was sort of enjoyable. Not all places are as classy or as well run as the Pearl, though. And no, I don't know that from experience, but I heard stories."

"Right, I'll believe that," Solona smirks. "And a pirate? That's amazing! I'd love to meet characters like those." She pouts. "Should I become a whore and work at a brothel, Andy? Seems like the only fine option for me at the moment." She tries to keep herself from bursting into laughter.

Anders has to fight off the laugh bubbling up in his chest.

"Sol, I can't answer that. If I say yes, you'll hit me. If I say no, you'll hit me. You've stuck me in a corner, my dear!"

"Well, I promise that after I hit you, I'll make up for it with a kiss."

Anders shrugs and smiles.

"Fair enough. Why, my dear, you are amazing in bed, I would prefer it if you didn't become a whore at a brothel. I can get a bit jealous, you know."

"Anders?" Solona gasps, clearly amused. She splashes some water at him. "Jealous? You? Since when?"

"Aaah!"

He laughs and splashes her back.

"Well, I'm very good at hiding it, you know."

"But you never mentioned it. I mean, mentioned it."
