Solona had been giving it some thought ever since Anders brought it up. Escape the tower together? Her, Nellie, him and even Cullen? It was crazy but the way Anders explained it, it just might work. Surprisingly, Cullen agreed to do it, with Nellie's powers of persuasion of course.

So now the four of them are off to escape the Tower. Hopefully everything goes according to plan.

She laughs and nods.

"Sorry, sorry! It's just been ages since I've had food like this...I can't remember the last time I had food that wasn't from the Tower...granted, that was when I was 4, so it makes sense I don't remember, but still!"

Cullen laughs. "I understand! It's just that we can't have you choking on your food. I don't really think I can handle the thought of you passing."

Nellie nods and smiles.

"I'll eat slower, promise. I don't like the idea of dying either. And, of course, if you passed, I have no idea how I'd handle it...poorly, I imagine."

"Ah, Nellie, try not to handle it too horribly. I mean, I've already sworn that I would protect you-- even if it meant taking my last breath."

He says this with utmost sincerity in his voice.

Nellie quietly takes his hand, nodding solemnly.

"I don't want it to ever come to that, Cullen. You and me? We're gonna live, together."

She smiles at him, nodding.

Cullen squeezes her hand back and smiles before letting go, sheepishly. "People, people," he reminds her, looking down at his food, trying to quell the smile that threatened to break loose across his face.

Nellie blushes and nods.

"Sorry, sorry. I keep forgetting we're supposed to be acting."

She takes another bite of food, to distract herself.

"Maybe we should talk about something else...?"

"I know," Cullen whispers. "Remind me to take you on an actual date once we get somewhere safe."

He takes a swig from his mug. "So, what are the two up to?"

"I'd like that, Cullen. Maybe when we're in Lothering..."

She just shrugs.

"Maker only knows...at least they're being quiet."

Cullen's blush rises to his ears. "At least there's that. At least the owners aren't getting suspicious."

Nellie nods and smiles at him again.

"That's probably your doing, Cullen. You're a natural with people...me and Solona, we're sort of awkward. Chalk it up to Tower life. And Anders...is Anders."

"Anders is in his own category, yes," Cullen snorts, finishing the last of his pork. Maker, was he full. "That was amazing stuff. Pity they're just in a small town."

"If it wasn't so close to the Tower, I'd say we should stay here, but...well, we've got a good plan. And I have a feeling that not sticking to a plan is what got Anders in trouble before."

She shrugged and smiled at him.

"We can always come back when everything dies down or when Anders manages to find your phylacteries," Cullen says in a low voice. "And yes, I'm pretty certain that's what got him caught over and over again. Sometimes I doubt he has plans at all."

Nellie smiles and nods.

"Well, that's why it's a good thing we're here. We'll be okay, I just know it."

"So optimistic of you," Cullen smiles. But it's late and they needed to be off at an early start. "Nels, I think it would be best if we went to bed soon. We're leaving probably just an hour after dawn."

Nellie nods.

"Probably a smart idea. Neither of us have taken baths yet either, and Solona and Anders need to eat what we bring them upstairs...so you've got the right idea here."

"But where will they eat while we have our baths? Will they be down here or what?"

She shrugged.

"I guess they'll have to figure that out, won't they?"

"Those two are always causing such troubles," Cullen scowls and rubs the bridge of his nose in annoyance. "But, as long as we don't get caught, it's alright." He looks over at her plate. "Are you through? We can call for the check now if you'd like."

"But if anybody knows how to sneak around, it'd be them. I doubt they'll be the reason we get caught."

She nods and smiles.

"Ready whenever you are, ser Templar."

"You have a point," Cullen says, "somewhat." He smirks and calls the owner over for the bill. He pays the check and the two are ready to move upstairs. Cullen gets up quickly, moving to Nellie's side to pull her chair backwards out of courtesy.

Nellie just gives him another grin, nodding at him as she stands up.

"Come, ser Templar. Let us retire, for we have a long journey ahead of us tomorrow."

She's fighting the urge to giggle, and it shows.

Cullen stands as well. "Thank you for the meal, Werian. It was delicious." The owner nods at him beaming and Cullen turns to Nellie with a smile. "I will walk you to your quarters, Sister."

"Thank you, ser."

She smiles and takes his arm, going upstairs. Once they're upstairs and safely out of earshot from anybody downstairs, she bursts into giggles.
