Solona had been giving it some thought ever since Anders brought it up. Escape the tower together? Her, Nellie, him and even Cullen? It was crazy but the way Anders explained it, it just might work. Surprisingly, Cullen agreed to do it, with Nellie's powers of persuasion of course.

So now the four of them are off to escape the Tower. Hopefully everything goes according to plan.

"Truly," he laughs along with her. "Deep, hidden secrets that maybe, with proper coercion, I can divulge with you... eventually."

Nellie just laughs.

"OH, Maker, Cullen..."

She gives him a big grin.

"I'll learn all your secrets someday!"

"That, I have no doubt of," Cullen chuckles.

Shortly after, the food arrives. "Enjoy!" the owner greets them, placing down two drinks he claimed were on the house. Apparently he enjoyed Cullen's company that much.

"Thank you," Cullen nods at him. He should give the man a tip. And the owner's off.

He turns his gaze back to Nellie. "So?" He grins. "Dig in."

Nellie laughs again, seeing the drinks.

"You just have a way with people, don't you!"

She smiles and takes a bite of the food, before her eyes widen and she grins, nodding and taking several more bites.

"I can be charming when I want to be!" Cullen laughs. Well, at least when there's alcohol involved. He starts with his own food, smiling as he watches Nellie scarf down hers. "Better than some of the usual stuff in the tower, yes?"

She nods and smiles, swallowing before she speaks again.

"Oh, Maker, much better than the Tower food."

"I honestly don't know why Gregoir insisted that certain people do the cooking at some times. No offence but there are a good lot of people who shouldn't be doing kitchen duty," he chuckles, taking another bite of his roast pig. Maker, it tasted delicious.

Nellie nods and smiles.

"Remember the time he let Carrol do the cooking? How many people were sick afterwards, again?"

"Worst mistake he's ever made, in my opinion," Cullen laughs. "I pitied the apprentices on washroom duty."

Nellie nods, putting on her most solemn face.

"I was one of those apprentices."

Cullen looks at Nellie apologetically. "You didn't turn me off in any way during that time, evidently." He tries to fight back a snort.

Nellie snorts and grins.

"I'm glad for that. It...was not fun, to say the least."

"I can imagine. There was lots of groaning going around. It's a good think I already knew what everyone was getting into placing Carrol in the kitchen," Cullen smirks. "We were in training together back in Denerim."

"Really?"

Nellie smiles, nodding at Cullen.

"I take it this happened once before then?"

"I was forced to stay at home for a week..."

Nellie bites her lip, stifling a laugh.

"Please," Cullen says embarrassed. "Never mention it ever again."

Nellie nods, still stifling that giggle.

"I promise I won't."

"Thank you," Cullen sighs in relief, smiling at her. He enjoyed the way she laughed; sweet and at the same time, alluring.

"So," he tries to start up new conversation, "what do you expect from Lothering?"

Nellie frowns in thought.

"I don't know, honestly. I've heard it's a smaller town, lots of farmers and the like. It sounds nice, honestly. Do you know anything about Lothering?"

"I've been there a few times," Cullen nods. "Although just to pass though. It's right next to the highway and travelers often stop and stay there to rest. You're right about the farmlands as well. It's their main source of income in those parts. Most of the tower's food comes from there."

Nellie nods.

"It does sound nice. I've heard there's a huge windmill there...I've never actually seen a windmill in person."

"The windmill in the town is absolutely lovely. It's just around the outskirts of town. We'll bump into it on our way into the city." He smiles. "We could stop and admire it for a while if you'd like."

Nellie smiles and nods.

"I'd like that. We didn't have any windmills in Kirkwall, at least none that I can remember, anyway...I've only ever seen pictures of them in books."
