Solona had been giving it some thought ever since Anders brought it up. Escape the tower together? Her, Nellie, him and even Cullen? It was crazy but the way Anders explained it, it just might work. Surprisingly, Cullen agreed to do it, with Nellie's powers of persuasion of course.
So now the four of them are off to escape the Tower. Hopefully everything goes according to plan.

"I suppose I should," Cullen sighs. "But not now. We can't risk it at the moment." But he would write his father eventually. He had to let him know that his son isn't dead. Also, he had to know why Cullen decided to escape the order so unbecomingly. He looks at Nellie with surprise. "Why would your grandfather not want you to know your true father's identity?"
no subject
Nellie nods.
"You should. I imagine he'd worry about you otherwise...and I'm sure he'll still be proud of you even though you left the Circle."
She just shrugs again.
"Grandfather had his reasons. The Amell family was nobility in Kirkwall, and if I remember correctly, he was trying to become Viscount, so there must have been a reason. Mother always looked so sad talking about Father, but she never spoke of him in the past tense..."
no subject
Cullen chuckles awkwardly. "Probably not so proud about abandoning my duties." He squeezes her hand again. "You think he's still alive then?"
no subject
Smirking, he slides his fingers out of her, sucking on them.
"You taste delicious, Sol."
Nellie just shrugs.
"You're not abandoning your duties, Cullen. You're still serving the Maker by looking after people, and technically, you are still watching 3 mages. You're just not doing it at the Tower, that's all....and I guess he could be. I don't know. Solona and I never met him, and Mother didn't give us anything to go on as far as looking for him...then we got sent to the Gallows, and it wouldn't make sense to try and look in there."
no subject
"Unless he was a mage, of course," Cullen points out. "Magical abilities are usually genetic. Your father could have been in the Gallows and you wouldn't have known."
no subject
"Oh, I think you know what that is, love. You want this, don't you?"
They have to move fast...but he can do fast.
Nellie just shrugs.
"It's possible, but the Amell family has always had magic in its blood. Solona and I aren't the first mages born in the Amell family. I figured it probably came from our side, not his."
no subject
"It couldn't hurt to think about it though," Cullen smiles. "If ever we do make it to Kirkwall, we could ask around, you know. Maybe visit your mother's home and look for answers there."
no subject
And he thrusts into her with barely any warning.
Nellie smiles.
"I'd like that. I'd like to see Mother again too, if she's still alive...I miss her..."
Her smile falls a bit.
"Her letters stopped coming shortly before Solona and I were transferred to Ferelden. Solona never said why, but I think she knew something I didn't...I doubt she's still alive, but...well, I don't know for sure."
She just shrugs, trying to change the topic.
"What about your mother?"
no subject
Cullen grimaces. "My mother... Well, she passed away."
Just then, Cullen hears a noise coming from his room. "Did you hear that?" Cullen suddenly turns all serious. "I'm going to go check up on Anders."
no subject
Nellie blinks. Oh, Maker, Solona...dammit!
Nellie just shakes her head, squeezing Cullen's hand.
"I'm sure he's okay. Trust me, from some of the stories Solona's told me, he gets...er...very into his bath."
She goes bright red, groaning a bit.
no subject
Cullen eyes Nellie skeptically. "It was a rather high pitch to be Anders.
no subject
And Nellie just looks away, sighing, face still red.
why. did. i. put. 'piano'?
Cullen scowls. "What's happening in there, Nellie?" He sighs. "Do I even want to know?"
subconscious desire for music?
Nellie just sighs, shaking her head.
"No."
And then she pulls Cullen in and kisses him, hard.
probably. i don't even know what I was thinking HAHAHA sleepy jessie was sleepy
Cullen's eyes fly wide open. Nellie never initiated things this eagerly. He takes a while to recover before finally giving into the kiss, wrapping his arms around her and tilting his head for better access.
It's okay. Sleepy makes you act odd, that's all.
He sighs, happy.
"As much as I wish you could stay, we're running on a tight schedule..."
Nellie was surprised by her own eagerness, honestly. Maybe it was the whole covering for Solona thing, or maybe it was her newfound freedom. But she kissed him back, hard, wrapping an arm around his waist, pulling him close.
no subject
Cullen pulls her by the waist, arching her into his body and pressing her close against him. "Nellie," he sighs her name into the kiss, his hands exploring the curves of her back.
no subject
Nellie smiles into the kiss, kissing him harder as she leans back.
no subject
"Hey Anders?" she says, right before she exits.
Cullen dips her, grinning as the kiss deepens even more. Her boldness makes him feel bolder. That along with the alcohol. His hand caresses her leg and pulls it up to wrap against his waist.
no subject
He nods at her, sitting down on the bed. "Yeah?"
Nellie gasps, moaning slightly, nipping at his lip slightly.
"Cullen..."
no subject
A moan escapes Cullen's mouth. Absently, he pushes her against a wall, pinning her between his arms, still kissing her deeply. What drove him to the point of grinding against her body escapes him.
no subject
"Sol, wait!"
Nellie gasps, moaning more, arms wrapped around him tightly.
no subject
"I-- I'm sorry I mentioned it! It was in the heat of the moment and I don't know what I was thinking!"
Cullen sighs, moving his kisses down to her neck, nibbling at her flesh. Maker help him that he'd be able to resist going further than that.
no subject
Aw, hell. He wants to kiss her. But he can't.
"I...I love you too, Sol..."
Nellie gasps, arching against him.
"Ah, Cullen...!"
